Hello, in PD 3, I used to have an option to make PD simulate Alt-Gr key when pressing the Enter key (not sure about the name the one which looks like "|<" turned 90° right). I do not have the option any more... could it be a problem of version which used to be French localized and now not any more??? Regards Armel
Hello armelasselin, if you need such a shortcut, in PD4 you can add this mapping yourself: 1. In main application's menu open Parallels Desktop-->Preferences-->Keyboard&Mouse 2. Then click "+" -- keboard shortcut dialog appears 3. In the keboard shortcut dialog set cursor in the input field in the "From:" row, then press Numeric Enter key 4. In the "To:" row select AltGr in the combobox 5. Make sure not to select any additional modificators keys, such as Shift, Alt, etc 6. Click "OK" - to close shortcut dialog 7. Click "OK" to apply settings That's it.
unfortunately, there is a bug if you add a step 8: Re-open the settings, you will notice that the AltGr transformed into a Alt... I have build 3522. Armel
any news on that point? I checked the build 3540 notes but it seems that there is no fix for that problem. Armel
I too am still waiting for a fix to this problem. It makes a French keyboard virtually unusable, especially if you write C# code and need the [, {, } and ] keys.
