Keyboard not working in boot camp

A few months ago I upgraded to sp3 in windows xp. I had a big problem loading parallels and I don't recall the exact procedure but I had to burn a native xp disc etc and finally got it to work.

I don't use boot camp much but the other day I wanted to play a game and I loaded the computer via boot camp. When I load in boot camp the computer does not at all recognize the keyboard. The mouse does work though.

Anyone else experience this? How do I fix it?
