    Hi,

IN VERSION 4.0 (4.03522) I CANNOT USE THE AltGr KEY AT ALL!!!!!

I have used Parallels for a long time. The latest upgrade seemed to improve several things - BUT:
I use a Swedish keyboard, Windows XP, latest Mac OS, etc. Pretty standard (international!) stuff.
To be able to enter (into Windows XP) characters like @ and \ - I NEED THE AltGr key.

In previous versions, the AltGr remapped to the Numeric Enter key and worked fine.

In this version I cannot get AltGr to work at all!!!! In keyboard mapping - it just jumps back to "Alt".

The whole keyboard remapping feature seems to promise a lot, but is BUGGY!
(Some keys combinations cannot be entered (Tab), documentation is day for this feature very limited.
Also, in previous versions, I never used the feature "Release input", since I always could do Command-Tab twice and be in "released input mode" automatically. This is no longer working in Parallels 4.0.
When in Full screen mode, there is only "Release input" as alternative.... But just try to remap "Release Input" to Command-Tab. Not possible... There are dialogboxes that appear if you try to remap a combination that exists - that are incorrect as such, etc, etc, etc... .... ooooohhhh (tears...)...I want my old Parallels 3.0 Keyboard back... It was limited, but I felt "In control"... Now - I feel like I have NO CONTROL - ... due to BUGS(!))

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Try KeyTweak

There is a response somewhere in other forums about a way to change the key mapping for Parallels by typing some commands from the Mac OS X Terminal (in essence, put a key mapping command in a particular place/file where I presume Parallels will look for such commands). However, that did not work for me.

I read then about "KeyTweak". Its a free windows program that allows you to map any key on your keyboard. You can download and install it (under windows) from http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick/ and the use the "half teach mode" to change the mapping of the Enter key to the Right-Alt (or AltGr) key. It is very simple and painless. I am not sure if it works on Vista. I use XP on my parallels 4.

    hope it works.
