I'm using the final version (Build 1848) with Windows XP Home SP2. I have an 8GB hdd with 4.14 GB used; 3.84 GB free. It shows I have heavy fragmentation (47%). When I try to run disk defrag is begins and looks like it starts to defrag but then finishes pretty quickly. No error messages. I run the Analyze tool again and it still shows I have heavy fragmentation. Any idea why it's not working? Perhaps not enough available disk space to complete? If that's the case, I would expect an error message of some sort. -- Bronson
Once I deleted a file named 'OptiZero0.dat' (as described here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?p=13367&posted=1#post13367) my disk defragmentation went to zero immediately. The problem seems fixed. -- Bronson
