    Hello Everyone,

I was playing with Beta of parallels 4 and liked it. Just got around to taking the full version and i migrated my boot camp machine to parallels through vmware converter , then using transporter to go from a VMware to aparallels machine. the upgrade to 4.0 finished half way, then i had to manually relaunch to get the parallels tools installed, but it completed.

All seems to be working great, except i occasionally get the whole mac lock-up totally. sometimes it feels like a real lock up but it isnt. If you wait long enough you get your computer back. Sometimes it takes a minute or two. I never had this before last night when i put parallels in.

    Any ideas?

    Here is the config:

    macbook pro late 2008
    parallels 4
    allocated for parallels 2048 MB
    VM memory 2048 MB
adaptive hypervisor enabled ( i tried with and without)
optimise for virtual machine ( tried optimised for MAC os)
    2 virtual CPU
    file sharing enabled
    application sharing enables
the rest i think does not matter much, but please feel free to ask if you need any more info.

    Thanks,

    atodosic,

How does it look like? Do you see beachball - rainbow colored disk instead of mouse cursor?

    there are two cases:

    either:
a.mouse moves but cant click on anything ( pointer , not rainbow)
    b. mouse simply doesnt move period.

I think i managed to get the rainbow by clicking endlessly once when "a." happened, but mostly its as stated above.
