I just upgraded from PD 3.0 to 4.0, and can no longer get Windows XP to shut down. It doesn't hang, but rather seems to simply ignore the Shut Down command (Start Menu -> Turn Off Computer). I can tell it to shutdown, restart, or log off as many times as I like, to no effect. Interestingly, I am able to get it to go into Standby, which is kind of amusing for a virtual machine.

I have tried disconnecting all my shared folders. What else should I try doing to get shutdown to work properly again? It was fine under 3.0, so something went wrong during the upgrade. :-(

FWIW I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling PD 4.0. So, probably something about the upgrade process didn't go right.

/edit: Spoke too soon. It shutdown properly exactly once. Now Windows XP will not shut down when I tell it to. Same symptoms as above.
