    Hi,

Does any body know how I can install prallels tools for Ubuntu 8.10. On my guest linux system when I run

    sudo sh parallels-tools.run

I get the following error message:

    Found xorg version 1.5.2
    Installation for xorg.1.5 not found

It seems that the current version of Parallels Tools (v3.0 Build 5608) is incompatible with the latest version of linux Ubuntu (v 8.10). As a result, I can not transfer files between the virtual OS and Mac OSX and vice versa. There is also a screen resolution mismatch, so that Ubuntu cant support resolutions over 1024x768. For the latter, I could solve the problem by editing the xorg.conf file in /etc/X11 so now I can have a full screen display when using Ubuntu. But still I have problem with installing Parallels Tools on Ubuntu. Is there possibly any update for Parallels in which the above problem is fixed.

    Your helps are greatly appreciated.

There is a thread on this already. Parallels has promised support over and over, and still they can't provide it for PD3 users.
