I tried to upgrade to 4.0 and followed the auto install program. What resulted was the manual upgrade option to my VM and this BSOD (see attached). Now I am unable to start windows at all in bootcamp or otherwise. I need parallels back and 4.0 broke my perfect installation. Help.

    bad news and good news

First the bad news - your bootcamp install is basically fragged.

The good news is that this is known territory and here's the KB article on how to resolve it. Hopefully you have all the pieces in place:

I'm chugging through this process myself right now, so I can't tell you if it works or not. Plus note that this KB is for PD3 not PD4, so I'm not even positive that all of the steps can be done in PD4

    Good luck
