Hi, I've been trying to acces the shared folders of the virtual winxp machine (M1) from a diferent machine (M2).

I am able to see the shared folders of M2 from the virtual machine M1, but I cannot see the shared folders of M1 from M2.

    Is it even possible?

    Thanks in advance.

Probably firewall is blocking connection, or VMs are in different Network mode?

    Firewall deactivated

I've deactivated the firewall and now I see my vm.

But a question emerges: Why couldn't I see it? I have the firewall activated in the other computer and I can see it from the vm. Why did I have to deactivate the firewall from the vm to see the other pc?

    Thanks.

No, you should also disable firewall and make sure that Server service is started,
