I installed parallels on my mac and it runs Windows fine. I also have no trouble downloading the actually program to my computer. When I open the file it begins installing, but when it is about 75% complete the installation box disappears and I assume stops installing because the program never shows up. Specifically it happens when trying to install Quicken 2008 and RealPlayer. Has anyone had this program? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Hello, Please, check the logs, there might be some usefull information about installations failed. To see the logs, please, click Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tasks -> Event Viewer here you can find System and Application tabs. Look for warnings and error messages.
When I go to that log this is the error message that is there. What does it mean and how do I fix the problem? "The Abiosdsk Registry key denied access to SYSTEM account programs so the Service Control Manager took ownership of the Registry key."
