    Hi,

I am having some problems with Paralells where I get a BSOD after un-pausing the VM. My setup is this: -

    MBP, 4GB, Leopard 10.5.5
Vista Ultimate SP1 (build 6001) running on Bootcamp.

I did have a situation where the VM would pause when sleeping my mac (closing the lid). When I unpaused the VM, it blue screened. Now that is happing is that the VM seems to pause on its own after a while, and will guaranteed BSOD when unpaused.

I have been reading a few posts about SP1 causing issues. I read in one that clearing the boot partition can help. I have tried this, reactivated windows etc. nothing doing, still the same.

Can anyone recommend how to stop blue screens of death when unpausing the VM?

    thanks
    Ryan

As a first step please disable power management in Vista
