Hi I run have been running Parallels on my Mac BookPro and getting a new iMac with Leopard. I was wondering what is the best practice. Is it best to make are partition just for Parallels/Bootcamp?? Is it best to install Bootcamp and then Parallels on top of it? Is it best to keep the internal hard disk one partition and just install parallels without bootcamp? I want to be able to run window programs (eg Office and CS3 etc...) while still in Mac OSX. Please help as I will be getting the new iMac this week. PS I have brought Parallels twice, once for each Mac and same as the MS Windows XP. Regards JUlian
I'm bumping this as i have the same questions, what's the best practices, running parallels on the bootcamp partition or on its own VM? I'm concerned about viruses, and have heard they can infect the system if i get one while in bootcamp, but how is it if i run parallels on my BC partition, is it equally vulnerable?
