I have a MacBook Pro with Windows XP in a Bootcamp partition. I have Parallels (3214) installed and it uses the bootcamp partition. I'm having no real problems but I do have a question.

When I boot into Bootcamp I cannot access the folders on the Mac using the Windows desktop link to the Parallels Shared folders; the message is that I don't have authority to it, or the connection is invalid. It tells me to ask my administrator for help. That's me and I don't know!!!!!

Am I supposed to be able to get at the Mac data from Bootcamp just because I have Parallels installed?

If I try to map a drive I can enter the \\.psf\blahblahblah as the path, and I can tell it to always connect as a particular user, but when I click on <finish> I am forced to connect as guest and it demands a password.

Any thoughts and guidance on this please.

    Thanks

    Garry

Under Boot Camp you can only use MacDrive to access Mac OS drives
