confused about installing multiple browsers

    I need help with this. I currently have xp installed on my MBP 17" and running ie6. I desperately need to install ie7 too. how do I go about this? is this easy?

    Or just run Windows Update, IE7 will appear as a 'critical' update.

    But I need both ie6 and ie 7 running so that I can cross browser check? any ideas?

    Bleh... you are running Parallels you can always clone your Windows installation and have one with ie6 and another with ie7. There is a way to run both browsers, it's a hack, since Windows itself is only prepared to run one version at a time.

    Yes, please note, you will not violate license only if you run only one Windows per time

    any issue with memory here though? ram etc? advice?

    If you run them alternately there's no issue with RAM, if you run them at the same time that means Parallels will take double the RAM it would take one alone.

    File > Clone.
