I just installed Parallels on my Leopard Macbook Pro. Windows Vista boots fine in it, but when I try to capture the mouse and keyboard neither will work, so I can't login. Any suggestions?
In one of the following locations 1. /Users/<username>/Documents/Parallels 2. /Users/<username>/Library/Parallels 3. /Users/Shared/Parallels add VM name to the end
I found all of those, but none have files with .mem or .sav extensions. Maybe I should include that the copy of Windows I am using is installed using Boot Camp.
Reboot in Boot Camp, and uninstall any custom mouse drivers you installed except Apple, Reboot in Mac OS, if there are still problems. Start Parallels Desktop holding the Command key Configuration Editor - Hard Disk 1- Advanced - Clear Note, this will require to reactivate Windows
That's another problem. I have a site license of Windows, so I don't have the key. Boot Camp is asking me to reactivate the copy, so I guess I will have to see what I can do.
Now it just says there has been an error with the software licensing when I try to boot into Boot Camp. When I click close it just logs me back out.
The easy way is to contact to network admin or to Microsoft and describe situation. It is not license violation, so Microsoft will provide you steps
