    Situation:

I have a MacBook Pro I need to update (OS, Parallels, etc) and install Autodesk's Revit+AutoCAD architecture Suite Web update 1 in very little time. Rather than wait and do it all in one go when the user is in, I was wondering if it was possible to transfer a VM that I created on one machine to another. Is there something else besides making sure that the VM is shared amongst all users (option at install) that needs to be checked? Thanks.

the only thing i can think of that will pose a problem is that all of the VMs will have the same windows name, which will cause conflicts - that and you're using one xp installation across multiple machines which is a violation of windows EULA. as long as you have the serials you should be okay on that end though.

If you start only one machine at time it is not EULA violation, and thus duplicate machine name will be gone also
