Is there a simple, straightforward way to back up files in Parallels Shared Folders in Win XP using Retrospect?

Do you mean you are using Windows version or Mac version, in both cases it is possible,
In case of Windows version you need to point to network drive to y: and/or x:
In case of Mac OS version, you need to point to /private/tmp/xxxx(some number)/C

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm using the Win version of Retrospect and when I try to designate the source volume, the only drive shown is the "c" drive.

I should have added above that in Win XP/My Computer, I can see and open the X and Y drives.

Are you able to see x and y now in Retrospect?

No--I can see X and Y in My Computer, but not in Retrospect.
