I created a fully working copy of a real PC, which I have running in Parallels 3 at the moment. I kept the machine I copied it from as a backup. I let my Daughter use it for a while, and now its corrupted - the real original one that is. Can I take my virtual copy and paste it back on to the PC hard drive again? I'd hate to have to start from scratch with the windows discs yet again...
Basically you can perform full windows backup using Windows NT backup http://www.winxptutor.com/ntbackup.htm Than install OS on PC, and restore backup
Look into doing this with acronis products like true image echo etc. They're from the same parent co. as parallels and there's usually pretty good interoperability... Not saying it's possible to do what you want, but if it is, it'll be even simpler than what was posted above. Plus you'll own a very good backup/imaging program...
