OS Installation Assistant on startup

My VM, which I've been using for months, no longer starts. Instead, I'm presented with the OS Installation Assistant.

My hard drive is there, but it seems it can't boot from it. Here's what happened prior to the problem:

- I added a new hard disk today. The .hdd file was on an external USB drive.
- I mistakenly disconnected the drive while the VM was running.
- I tried to create a snapshot of the VM - got a -301 error. Tried again a few times - got 100 errors.
- Stopped the VM and removed the new hard disk from the configuration.

Any ideas?

Big sigh of relief! Solved the problem by following the instructions in KB 4680 (http://kb.parallels.com/en/4680).
