Installing XP SP3, safe?

    I just received a request from Windows Update to install XP SP3 and i'm wondering if it's safe to install it through WU?

    I have Parallels build 5608, currently using XP SP2.

    And i'm not using it on a bootcamp partition, just a plain VM.

    Yes, it's safe (as safe as an MS update can be).
