    Hi all..

In the latest build 5608 of Parallels, at any time within the VM is running, I get dialog to say Parallels has detected a new device, IR Receiver. It ask me if I was to connect it to Parallels. When I click No. it dismiss the dialog, but it keeps popping up randomly.

I can't remember weather this started was a cause from a the last build of Parallels, or maybe just a co-incidence that it happened about the same time my MacBook Pro got a replacement logic board.,

    Why does this occur ?

When you start Parallels Desktop go to Devices menu -USB and disconnect IR receiver

I've tried what you have said, but the IR Receiver is not listed.

I've confirmed its not listed under Devices >> USB, until you initially say "Yes" when Parallels wants access to it, then it appears under the Devices menu. Not before.

May be you have some external devices?

Nope... This situation happens with no external devices attached.

    Probably, I was not clear,
Screenshots are correct, but I mean for time when new device found notification is on the screen

Problem is coming from Mac OS side, one of the devices are reconnecting periodically, such situation may be caused when USB device is self powered or, USB connection is constantly disconnecting.
You can set following setting in Configuration Editor- USB Controller 1- Connection options - Connect to Mac OS

That seem to have fixed the problem.
