How can I achieve it to rotate my screen/monitor for an XP VM in full screen mode?

I tried the app, which I would normally need to use under an native XP and which in my case would be MagicRotation by Samsung (http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitors/magictune/magicrotation_02s.htm)

I also tried screen rotation under Mac OS in system preferences, but in this case the screen under Paralles cannot adopt to the new setting and shows a screen where black rectangles are above and beneath the screen.

But this app results in the fact that my VM can no longer boot up, and instead show my the so-called "blue screen of death" even before completion of booting.

That app is made to interact directly with the monitor/screen drivers, under Parallels the monitor driver that Windows uses is a generic one that interacts with a 'virtual screen' in Parallels, Parallels then interacts with OS X and it's OS X that interacts directly with the screen, whereas in native XP the monitor/screen drivers interact directly with the screen. You also can't use Samsung drivers under Parallels because for Windows what it 'sees' is a generic screen not the Samsung screen.

Thank you, Specimen - I now understand why the Samsung app does not work.

But do you/anyone know of a solution to rotate screens?

Rotate the screen like you did in OSX, then Alt+Enter to switch Parallels from Full Screen Mode to Window Mode then Alt+Enter again to get back to Full Screen. I've personally tested this solution on a second display and it works.
