    Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this subject.

We recently started changing everyone over to Macs. Through this process we decided to use Paralles Desktop to emulate the Windows environment.

Well we were told we could just store one copy of a Parallels hard drive on a sever and just copy the files to the clients. (with changes to the .pvs like deleting the MAC line).

Well this works, however, we are having problems with the Windows SID.

Anyone out there know of a way to fix the existing (remotely if possible), or of setting up the hard drives to get a unique SID (We are working with sysprep now, but I was wondering if someone knows a better way).

If this VM is in AD, you need to change Windows SID, using for example NewSid from sysinternals
