    Hi,

I tried to install a E160 Huawei USB UMTS stick inside a WinXP VM.
First it as looking fine, but after all the drivers where installed the stick was unable to connect to the network.
from the same location everything works fine with the OSX software.

Am I doing something wrong or does parallels not suport this kind of devices?

Downgrading? 5582.5 looks a bit older than 5608 which is installed at the moment.

but i will give it a try.

    nope still not working.
The VM is a XP SP2 with nothing, except the drivers for the stick and the VM Tools, installed. just in case that it could help. The USB stick is also forwarded to the VM.
So what I did was booting up the machine and then I connect the stick to my macbook.

So time for switching back to the 5608.
