I assume that this is still only an XP solution (I couldn't find 'File Types' in the Folder Options in Vista)...

    OK - apologies!
I read back through the thread, did what John suggested in Parallels preferences and lo and behold, now when I click on a hyperlink in (for example) Outlook, it launches in Safari!
    Thanks!

Directions don't work for Parallels 3.0

I just upgraded to 3.0 and followed John's directions, but in the Preferences/General Tab there is no option to have it open in Safari over windows. What's the trick?

There is option for start in Mac OS, not in Safari
Default browser is set on Mac in Safari preferences

John, I think I missed a step in the directions. From the drop down menus, the correct location is Parallels/Virtual Machine/Configure. I was previously in Parallels Desktop/Preferences/General. It works now. Thanks.
