I've searched the forums here, but I am NOT using a Bootcamp partition with Parallels (which most people I saw with this issue were).

My client just upgraded their XP partition in Parallels from SP2 to SP3 with the latest build of Parallels and it is stuck in the registry_error/BSOD loop and can't even safe boot the Windows XP install.

The client hasn't backed up their settings/data in Parallels and thus I would rather not have to reinstall XP yet again for them.

    any suggestions?

    Same Issue

I just upgraded to the newest parallels build and I run Windows XP Pro. I get a Blue Screen of Death loop too after trying to upgrade parallels. I don't have service pack 3 of windows xp, just service pack 2. Also, I'm not using bootcamp either.

Could you please provide BSOD screenshot?

I'll try and post it in the thread.. i paused Parallels just at the right moment.

I've tried forcing it to boot into a xp sp2 installer to repair, and other utilities but nothing works.
    does it regardless of safemode/etc..
