    Hi,

    if I use bridged ethernet with my Bootcamp Vista VM (SP1) everything works fine.

    But if I try to use shared networking (because I have an 3G Broadband connection within OSX), my Vista VM
    doesn't get an IP adress assigned. Usually it should get something with 10.xxx?

    The 2 parallels network adapters in OSX are green.

    Any suggestions?

    Ok, i tried some things and it seems to be a problem of Vista.

    I installed a WindowsXP SP2 as a regular VM and Shared Networking is working as it should.

    Is this a known issue of Vista and Parallels V3?

    EDIT: Also Host-Only Networking doesn't seam to work. Not getting a valid IP address either.

    The network adapter is sending packets, but not receiving.

    K, but why is it working with a WindowsXP VM?
    Only my Vista Bootcamp VM is not working.

    hm, seems correct.
    What is Vista Edition?
    And what is Network settings for Vista, (I mean is it Active Director)
    Do you have some TCP/IP filtering enabled in Windows?

    Network is standard DHCP. No active directory or something else.
    No TCP/IP Filters.

    Yes. Kaspersky Antivirus 2009. On both machines. XP and Vista.
    XP = working
    Vista = not working

    I'll try now an installation of vista into a new VM. We'll see if it's working.

    Hm, it's working well.
    I installed the same software as on my bootcamp installation, instead of the bootcamp drivers.
    Maybe thats the problem?
