Anyone here running WordPerfect in WinXP under Parallels? The software works fine except that the keyboard commands don't work, so I have to use the drop down menus which is much more cumbersome. I want to be able to do ctrl-alt-F7 to format, for example, as I can do using native WinXP, but to no avail as yet on the Imac. I suspect it's a Parallels issue and I suspect it's easily fixable. Can anyone help?
I should add I have selected "do not remap" within Parallels preferences, but that did not cure the problem.
Ctrl+Alt is by default using to release input Try to remap keys on Parallels Desktop -Preferences -Keyboard not using Ctrl+Alt - use Custom
Doing this does not fix the problem, although it makes a particular WordPerfect command available. I don't have Alt-F3 (reveal codes); I don't have Ctrl-Alt-F7 (double indent); I really don't have any of my <alt>-or-<ctrl>-or-<shift>-plus-an-F-key combinations, which are extremely useful features in WordPerfect. Anyone?
I am not sure there are many users with WordPerfect , I can suggest easy solution, use dedicated keyboard for VM, and you will be able to get all your combination out if the box
