I bought 2 MacPro computers with Parallels 3.0 and WindowsXP installed by the vendor. The vendor placed the Parallels folder in user/admin/documents on the Macs. I need it to be in the users/shared folder so it can be seen by all users of the machine. I had a Parallels tech support person talk me through making the correction earlier this year. I can't seem to get much support at this time, and I need that help again. What do I need to do to fix the problem installation of Parallels?

    thanks

I did this myself earlier, it's quite simple. Just copy your parallels user data folder to the desired location. Then all you have to do is launch parallels, and select the virtual machine in it's new location (select open existing instead of New). If you have any problem, you can put the parallels folder back where it was.

Be aware that only one user at a time can access the Windows machine.

I did that, and Parallels still wouldn't work. I checked the permissions of the various folders Parallels was in, made then all read and write and it launched and works. Thanks mrspeakers
