WinXP will not more boot

Hello together,

the WinXP SP2 under Parallels of an acquaintance does not start no more - the black DOS screen with a not moving cursor/Underline left above does not continues.

Any ideas because of which be and/or as I could that to be solved could?

no, there is no bootcamp installed.

Try safe mode, if you still cannot see screen in safe mode
It is necessary to backup VM as described in Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf on page 243 and perform Windows repair http://kb.parallels.com/en/5138

 

...safe mode is also not possible, the same problem - black screen. Also the repair of windows was not possible.
I installed now a new instance of windows in an new VM.
