Hello. I successfully changed my 8 GB disk to a 32 GB expanding disk. In order for my expanding disk to use the extra 32 GB, I need to put the currently unallocated space to work. The Parallels Image Tool manual says, It then gives directions for how to create a new partition. I'd rather not wrangle with which partition Windows is trying to save stuff to automatically, so I'd like to expand my current partition. I opened the Windows XP Computer Management control panel and read its documentation, but don't see how to expand the partition into the unallocated space. Help, please? How do you expand the primary partition to use the unallocated space? Background: * Windows XP SP2, which reports it has 7.8 GB NTFS primary partition described as "Healthy (System)", and also 23.45 GB Unallocated. * VM hard disk is set to be 32 GB expanding. * Running on Parallels 3.0 build 5608 * on Mac OS X 10.4.11 I'm not a Windows guru so please hold my hand a little when you give directions. thanks!
