It appears that an error is occurring in Parallels and powering off my Mac Book Pro. Initially I thought this to be a problem with the Mac Book Pro. However, after tracking the incidences, it only happens when running a program in Parallels. The unit will completely power off without any warning or signs of problems. It has happened about 10 times now over the past couple of weeks. Doesn't seem to have specific pattern. When rebooting Parallels, the system starts up perfect and I do not get any messages from Windows XP stating the system had been shut down abnormally. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't know. It is just an instantaneous power off. Its seems like it would be a hardware issue since there is no screen freeze. However, it only happens when Parallels is running. The unit completely powers off. It doesn't go into hybernation or sleep mode. I have to repower it on to start again.
