How can I link Windows OS guest to other VMs in OSX? These VMs are Cisco routers running on Dynamips. -> www.dynagen.org I tried NIO descriptors on bridged eth, shared and host only to no avail. Any ideas?
I'd like to hear from Parallels' support. Connecting to other VMs isn't the least desirable of features.
Cisco simulator doesn't provide MacOS network interface, but any other guest VM which provide Ethernet interface can be connected using VM in Bridged Ethernet
John, Dynamips is a Cisco IOS emulator that creates VMs with the real IOS on them and gives the possibility to connect to real networks. http://dynagen.org/tutorial.htm#_Toc193248002 Read on and pls give us some feedback. Where a crowd wishing to connect to Parallels VMs http://7200emu.hacki.at/
John, could you or any other at Parallels give an answer on this topic? otherwise I'd begin to think about the parallel Fusion by VMware...
John, more than a month and still no answer... linking Dynamips virtual routers with Parallels' VMs would allow us to simulate live networks
no, it doesn't help so I assume this issue is not interesting for Parallels' dev team what a pity, I am now seriously thinking about migrating to VMware what a waste of time is this support
