Can i get rid of the task bar in coherence?

is it possible to rid of the horrible task bar when using coherence mode? I hate the task bar and just want the icons in my dock, is this possible?

Yes, hold mouse on edge of taskbar and drop it down, alternatively you can use autohide in taskbar properties

 

how do i access the task bar properties? :| sorry i am very rusty on windows!

Trying to figure out what "hold mouse on edge of task bar" means. Autohide taskbar leaves a line across screen. Didn't there use to be an alternative to the taskbar in coherence mode?

There is also an option to hide the Windows taskbar in one of the menus in the Parallels menu bar, which is probably the best way to go about hiding it.
