When I'm in my XP Pro vm & attempt to save an email attatchment (word or xl) it saves to my Mac desktop but not to the Windows desktop. The same thing happens when I download Adobe Reader (which I want to install to Windows).

What do I need to do to have items like this saved to the Windows vm?

    Hi,

Try adjusting mail client and web browser settings and explicitly sepcify to save attachments/downloads to Windows Desktop.

    Hope this helps.

As I see you use Mac OS e-mail program (possibly thunderbird) in that case you can change default save location on "ask me each time or something else" by defaylt location is desktop. After that you can choose windows disk -> documents and settings -> user name -> desktop.

If it is not possibly just check that shared folders enabled for Windows and Mac OS disks you can do it in VM configuration editor -> shared folders.
