My host system is a Mac (10.5.3 if that's important) and I'm running the latest version of Parallels (can't recall the version but the one that gets rid of the flickering issue). I'm wondering if this is possible and if so, how I should set it up? I want to create 2 (or more) virtual machines that run different versions of Windows, Linux etc., but I want them all to be able to see the others (and the Mac) as computers within the same network. (Note that I don't want to communicate via the Mac's file structure etc.. I'm testing out some software that communicates with other servers over the network using the various servers network/ip address names. Eventually this will be implemented on physical servers that are connected to a LAN). What configuration should I set up at the host (Mac) level and within each of the VM's to enable this? Thanks Susan
Provided that you assign IP addresses in the "same " network, each VM should be able to see each other... of course, all VMs should be either configured as "host-only" or "shared Network"...
