Leopard Open/Save dialogs cause crash

After opening a file on my Parallels XP VM using an app on my Mac, every Mac app that uses a File -> Open or File -> Save dialog box crashes when I open or save. So far this has crashed TextMate, TextEdit, Safari, and Firefox. This started just after I upgraded my Parallels to build 5600. I have since downgraded to 5584 (I think) and then re-upgraded to 5608, to no avail. Each time I uninstalled Parallels first, then installed using the installer.

I'm using Leopard 10.5.3 on a MacBook Pro with 4GB of RAM, 160GB HD, and my latest Parallels install is version 3, build 5608. My Parallels guest OS is Win XP, SP 3.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated; I don't want to reinstall the OS!

Try to disable shared profile and check , is Mac side still has problems

 

Yes, it had problems after I disabled all sharing, even when I logged in with Safe Boot mode. Ended up having to Archive and Install Leopard again. I won't open Parallels again until my Time Machine drive arrives tomorrow. I lost about a day wrestling with this.
