Unable to install XP

    I am on 10.4 and i am trying to install xp.

    When i try to use my disk (i am using a gateway recovery disk) it says that there is no OS installer, so it takes me to the full recovery screen, but when i try to restore, it says

    The instruction at "0x77f51d24" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". Click on ok to terminate the program.

    Any help would be much apprieciated.

    This should not work. Recovery disks are associated (should be) with computer from specific manufacturer and even specific type of computer. I would be really surprised if this was something you ever got to work.
    You need full installation disc, with some tricks at least upgrade disc of XPs. But not recovery disc.
    On side note, I think this is also against EULA from MS and therefore illegal...
