Issues with 802.1x after installing Parallels-Wst-2.1.1658-Win.exe

To any of you that are using 802.1x authentication for wired or wireless communications on your windows xp machines. It appears that Parallels Workstation 2.1 somehow doesn't allow you to control your 802.1x authentication on your ethernet ports after you install it. Uninstalling Parallels 2.1 allows you to regain control of 802.1x. Parallels 2.0.1514 works no problem for 802.1x authentication on your host OS.

 

Please check neighbor thread - may be you have similar problem with primary OS network.
