My WinXP VM crashed running access data's FTK software. It actually rebooted my Macbook Pro! Nice. Parallels complains that the .PVS file is now corrupt,so won't open the vm. The .HDD disk image looks OK since I can open it using parallels explorer. So how do I fix the .PVS file?

    Versions?
    Parallels 3.0 build 5584
Macbook Pro Intel 2.16 G Core Duo
    Mac OSX 10.4.11

You can recreate VM. just perform new installation -> choose custom installation -> use existence hard drive. In that case pvs file will be recreated. =)
