How to create another virtual machine in same computer

    I already have vista on my mac, but I want to also put xp because some programs I need only work with it.

    How can I do this without effecting the vista?

    Open paralells (don't start Vista) and click on file in menubar above , choose New and install windows xp.

    when i do this the new icon shows up on my dock but then crashes. Anythingelse I can do?

    check settings
    disk space
    and only open one VM at a time

    which install disk are you using?
    you need an OEM one with Sp2
