I am having trouble getting the SonicWall Global VPN Client to work. It is connecting to a SonicWall firewall/router. It gets passed the stage of authenticating and gets stuck at Acquiring IP. I have tried Bridged Networking and Shared Networking. My Windows Firewall is temporarily off. Any ideas what to do? How to troubleshoot?

It works on a PC running XP.

    Thanks!

Nobody has any ideas or input? Is this a known issue I won't fix? I have Build 5584 installed.

    Hello

I recently began using the SonicWall VPN Client on a XP Pro computer on a Parallels 3.0 VM. I also noted that it takes a long time to get past the "Acquiring IP" stage, but I timed it and found it took one minute in the "Acquiring IP" stage, and then it showed Connected.

I'm trying to use SonicWall VPN Client on XP with Parallels 4.0 and am running into problems. When I try to start up a session I get the following pop up message.

    Any pointers are appreciated!

Please try to uninstall Parallels Security, it may have some conflicts with some VPN clients
