asking for friend so he reinstalled leopard, and he has windows (created with boot camp) but installed parallels and when it opened it asked him to reactivate windows again and this happens every time he reinstalls mac osx is there a way to avoid this?

Kingoat, did your friend try to use "Clear" utility? You can launch it from Configuration Editor, Hard Disk section, Advanced tab (see the article linked above). It will restore the correct interrelations between Windows under Boot Camp and Parallels. Best regards, Xenos
oh okay so if he clears this then it won't have that setting that pops out saying the settings has been changed and tells you to activates again right??
