    Hi,
New here and new to everything about Paralels and MAC.

This Mac was given to me, so it already has Parallels loaded and the previous person - SAM - has Windows2000 loaded under their name. I tried to put my Window 2007 products and it told me to upgrade Windows 2007. Ok, so I got Windows 2007 Home Edition OS and now I need to know a few things.

    1. Do I need to remove SAMS windows 2000 OS before I load W 2007 HE?
    2. I have to accounts (whatever) on the Paralles, which they had me create. One is now SAMS and the other is KIM. How do I load the W2007 HE on the KIM?

I am urgently needing help on this and would appreciate someone giving me exact walk through procedures since I am new to all of this.

    Thanks.

    Hello Kim,

I think you'd better create a new virtual machine on your account and install Windows 2007 on the new VM.
You will find the detailed instructions on how to create a VM and install the Guest OS in Parallels Desktop User Guide For Mac.

    Best regards,
