what is "My Boot Camp.mem" icon

    It is showing up as Icon on my desktop ?

    It wasnt always there?

    Hello Dkaleky,

    Mem files are created when you launch the Guest OS and disappear when you shut down. It is a temporary virtual memory file. If you did not finish the work in Windows properly (through Start -> Shut down), the mem file stays in the VM folder containing memory dump.

    If your VM is running you are not able to delete it, if it is suspended deleting it cause VM hard reset (as in real PC)
