I have a new iMac that has parallels installed, I try to start Windows 2000 with both the regular boot disk and an ISO disk but always have the same problem. When I get to where you have to press F8 to Agree to the terms of their agreement it does not work. The up and down page keys work fine, I have clicked inside the small window and tried and with the mouse and keyboard active but the F8 key has never worked?? I can't get past this point unless I can agree and F8 is the only way??? Please some ideas Larry
a hard answer is get an OEM Winxp sp2 DVD at a "build your own computer store" why Win 2000 ? a legacy system it used to deliver blue screens fairly often >> the IT tech at a small company and I have enterprise support for all my Microsoft windows OS's so I have much more flexibility with Microsoft then the average end user and just to let you all know extended phase support for windows 2000 will end June/July 2010. Now that means when windows 2000 leaves extended phase support you will no longer receive patch support for the OS unless you pay to receive patch support. You will also not be able to get phone support for the OS ether<< http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6127_102-0.html?forumID=9&threadID=228324&messageID=2374366 sorry it is really past its use by date Hugh W
