Just installed Parallels Desktop 3.0 and Windows XP Home today on my new iMac running Leopard, 10.5.2. Everything seemed to be working properly until I tried to exit out of Windows by Quitting Parallels. Now the Mac pinwheel is spinning and I can't shut it down, or don't know how to. It's just frozen and seems to be affecting the performance of my Mac side also. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue and what is the proper way to exit Windows/Parallels?
It's a 5160 Build. I used the Mac side to do a forced shutdown, but I'm reluctant to re-open Parallels until I get a fix or learn a better way to shutdown Windows. Otherwise, my Mac side is back to normal. Thanks
Hello, Mamaness1, please download the build 5584 that provides full Leopard compatibility. You should shut down Windows through "Start" menu on Windows side. Otherwise you can break the Guest OS (on a real PC as well). Best regards, Xenos
Wndows XP doesn't shut down I have version 5584 installed but when I try to exit using shutdown or restart, the process stalls in "Windows is shutting down..." Running in Leopard 5.2 and Windows XP. Any suggestions?
