I have had nothing but problems since I upgraded to 3.0...now it won't open at all. This is the error message I get:

Parallels Desktop is unable to attach to the network adapter unknown. If this is the first time you see this message, please reboot your computer and start your virtual machine again. Otherwise please check your virtual machine's configuration and select another network adapter, or you will not be able to work with network connections inside your virtual machine.

My network settings are the standard Network Adapter 1...Shared networking settings.

I downloaded and installed the 5160 build, but that doesn't work either.

I am on a 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon Power Mac, 4 GB of ram, running Mac OS X, and Win XP.

    All help is greatly appreciated!!!!

    hi,
try to specify concrete network adapter (airport or ethernet) at VM configuration dialog.

That did it! Such a simple fix.

    Thank you!

I had this problem too -- why isn't shared networking working all of a sudden? Any way to fix it so that shared works?
