    Hallo,

installed Windows Vista Home Premium Edition OEM as guest-OS on a LinuxMint KDE 4 - host-OS.

    Parallels Workstation 2.2 build 2226.

    brigded ethernet default or eth0.

Message from Vista: "not connected to an network" and "no ethernet-adapter (hardware) installed".

Vista cannot recognize my Realtek ethernet-device. Just tried with Windows XP Home and other Linux-distris, and the network works just fine with brigded ethernet.

Any clou to work this out ?

    Regards

    Theo

    Hello Theo,

Your Vista is OEM software. Installing OEM software on another machine usually violates the software’s license agreement and may not work with Parallels Desktop for Mac.
