    Hi everyone,

I'm currently testing a real-estate website project called ACE Hive inside a Windows 11 virtual machine on Parallels Desktop for Mac. Everything runs fine initially, but after some time the browser (Chrome and Edge both) starts lagging, especially when running multiple WordPress tools and frontend scripts.

Here are the issues I'm noticing:

    • Page preview in WordPress takes unusually long to load

    • Browser freezes for a few seconds during heavy UI interactions

    • Switching between tabs feels delayed

    • Parallels sometimes spikes the CPU even though the workload is light
    I've already tried:

    • Increasing RAM and CPU allocation

    • Switching between Coherence and Full Screen

    • Turning off background processes

    • Testing with a clean VM snapshot
Has anyone here faced similar performance drops when working with web-development tasks inside Parallels?
Any recommended settings that improve frontend/browser-heavy workflows?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm encountering the same issue as well. I'm also running a Windows 11 VM on Parallels Desktop for Mac and notice that after a while, Chrome and Edge start lagging, especially when working with WordPress and other frontend-heavy tasks. Page previews take forever to load, UI interactions freeze briefly, and tab switching gets delayed. I've tried increasing RAM and CPU, toggling Coherence/Full Screen, and disabling background processes, but it only helps a little. Would really like to know if anyone has found settings or tweaks that improve browser-heavy workflows in Parallels.
